Ontological research in Onto-Med is aimed at the development, representation and application of top-level ontologies as well as core and domain ontologies in different areas of medicine and life sciences, but also in other domains. Currently, these investigations include the top-level ontology GFO and the biological core ontology GFO-Bio.
